Masters Swimming

Masters swimming is open to adult swimmers of all levels — whether you’re returning to the pool after a break, training for fitness, or preparing for competition.  We’re excited to welcome new and returning swimmers to this growing part of our club.

A trial 30 day membership is offered, which will enable you to come along to any training session before you commit to joining the club for a period of a month.

Once you have registered you will be emailed a form which needs to be completed and returned to the coach on your first night at training or emailed through to the Registrar

Becoming a Masters Member
Who is this for?
If you are a swimmer that has just completed a trial membership, or you have previously been a member of a Masters Swimming club in Australia, then it’s time to sign up as a full member of both Masters Swimming SA and our club. Full membership means you are registered and insured with Masters Swimming SA, and you are able to train with the club and enter competitions.

Masters Membership Fees
We are offering all NEW members a 12 month Membership for $260 (to end December 2026), which includes a Club Polo Shirt and Swim Cap.

A note about Membership Fees
Membership involves joining both Masters Swimming SA and our club, each with separate membership fees.

  • Masters Swimming SA Membership Fees – is purchased on-line via Swim Central,
  • Club Membership Fees – incorporated in the total payable amount when purchasing via SwimCentral.

Steps to register your Masters Membership
Step 1 – Set up your Swim Central Account (if not already done)
Swim Central – https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au/home
Swim Central is a web-based system run by Swimming Australia, used to manage membership details, swimming events, and a range of other administration activities. You will need to create a Swim Central account if you don’t already have one.

Step 2 – Purchase “New Member” Membership with our Club using the Join a Club button and select – Mount Barker Masters SA & purchase a membership for each swimmer.

Masters Training Fees
$15 fee per sessions (based on 1 session per week) and invoiced on a monthly basis.
Should any Masters Swimmer attend additional sessions in a month, the normal club training fee structure will apply, for more information please see our “Fees” page.

Important Notice – Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre Entry Fees
Please be advised that all club members who are attending training at the Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre will be required to pay for entry to the Centre (spectators gain free entry)

There are several options available:

  • Aquatic Membership – ideal for regular users, providing unlimited access. Please note: the joining fee will be waived for club members who purchase this membership.
  • Multi-Entry Pass – a cost effective option for multiple visits
  • Single Entry Pass – pay as you go for individual sessions.

Please ensure you have a valid entry option before attending any club activities held at the center.
